Anisah (not her real name), 44, decided to get a nose job as she was always the object of ridicule in her family.
The secretary said: "If I hadn't been teased so much by my family, I probably would not have even thought about changing my nose.
"I used to look at myself and wonder, was it really that bad?
"Was my nose really that ugly?"
She said what hurt the most was when her husband also joined in, and described her nose as 'kembang.
"Since undergoing rhinoplasty, I feel more confident and the best part is, no one can say anything more about my looks."
Anisah said that her nose job, which cost RM1,500 (S$608), was worth it, despite the amount of pain she had to endure.
"My T-zone area was bruised and I was in terrible pain for two days."
She added that her nose kept bleeding for two weeks and complete recovery took two months.
However, she is now hooked on the idea of cosmetic surgery following her successful nose job.
"I was so happy with the results that I decided to get a face lift, which costs me RM5,000 (S$2,028)."
Anisah said she spends RM2,100 (S$852) on Botox injections and RM6,000 (S$2,434) on Vitamin C injections and collagen every year.
She said she also uses silicon injections for her cheeks and chin, when needed, adding that each injection costs RM150 (S$60).
those are nasty things to say indeed!
