Mr Ed Houben may not make the list for the sexiest men in the world, but he is a favourite among women who want to be mothers.
A virgin until the age of 34, the 42-year-old has fathered 82 children over the years.
But he's no philanderer.
Mr Houben, from Maastricht in the Netherlands, was a sperm donor.
But he had to stop a few years ago because he reached his quota of 25 donations, US news website Huffington Post reported.
So he began doing the next best thing - having sex with women who want his sperm.
German newspaper Der Spiegel said the Dutchman performs his service for free, offering women and couples a chance to conceive without the expense of using a sperm bank.
He claims that women go to his home, but he makes exceptions if his partners are in a particularly fertile period.
They have to settle his travelling expenses and accommodation.
His "family" is spread all over Europe, and even New Zealand.
The oldest is now nine years old and the youngest, two months old.
According to his own data, he succeeds in producing a child 80 per cent of the time.
While what he does is perfectly legal, Der Spiegel reported that if a client tries to sue him for child support, he would have no legal grounds to stop them.
He gets his partners to sign documents waiving legal claims to child support, but experts say these would be invalid in the hands of a good lawyer.
"If all the mothers decided to sue him for maintenance, he would be paying them off for the rest of this life, and the next," one German family lawyer was quoted as saying.
Mr Houben, whom the Daily Mail describes as the "most prolific professional babymaker in the world", meets his clients through SpermaSpender.de.
According to news website Gawker, it's "a German sperm donation network that encourages women and donors to connect independently and set up donation contracts on their own terms".
The Daily Mail reported that he insists on all his partners submitting medical records showing they are disease- and drug-free.
He reciprocates with his own set of paperwork, which includes a semen analysis known as a "spermiogram" that shows he is the real deal.
A sperm count of less than 20 million shows the potential donor is "not a good prospect".
The prospects are increased for sperm counts of 80 to 100 million.
Mr Houben's count is 100 million. "I don't fire blanks!" he joked.
He has sired 45 girls, 35 boys and two whose sex he doesn't know because the mothers won't tell him.
He told Der Spiegel: "My girlfriend says that what I do only makes me more interesting."
