Scarjo has officially lost her mojo.

So what if US actress Scarlett Johansson plays a kick-butt superhero - Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow - in new Marvel blockbuster The Avengers?

Unfortunately, off the screen and onto the red carpet for the movie's international press tour, those powers have not translated well.

As the requisite female lead in The Avengers, I expect her to bring all the sex appeal she's famous for to the sausagefest.

After all, she's got a killer body and a killer face that should make anything look good.

But the curvy 27-year-old played it too safe for her biggest movie to date and should have her bombshell status revoked after this lacklustre fashion display.

Where's the drama, the wow factor, the va-va-voom?

Sorry, but there's nothing to, um, marvel about here.

I was disappointed with Johansson's understated look at the Los Angeles premiere.

The messy quiff, pretty make-up and Giuseppe Zanotti strappy sandals are okay.

But even with its distractingly odd moon-shaped bodice and sculptural silhouette, this Versace LBD is boring me to tears.

Things didn't improve that much in London.

This prissy black Prada strapless frock embroidered with red and navy floral details is on the mature side.

I also hate the sad-looking waist peplum, matchy-matchy Christian Louboutin red pointy pumps and inexplicable Heidi braid updo with a vengeance.

We want man-eater Scarjo, not a milkmaid.
