FOR THE OVERSEAS TRAVELLER
Ecco Sculptured 65 (top left)
What: This pair of low-cut, lace-up booties gives you morning-till-night comfort.
The super-soft inlay soles conform to the shape of your foot, while a moisture-absorbing circulation system keeps your tootsies cool.
Verena's verdict: Hands down, this was the most comfortable pair I tried. To my surprise, the 6.5cm-high booties didn't warm my feet up, even in Singapore's humid weather.
They would be perfect for overseas trips where a lot of walking is required. Get them in patent black for more formal events or for the boardroom.

FOR THE OFFICE GAL
Naturalizer Ilyse (top right)
What: A classic peep-toe that's perfect for long hours at the office, but doesn't look out of place even as day turns to night. Cushioned insoles and upper-balance technology ensure ultimate comfort.
Verena's verdict: I love how the taupe colour makes it easy to pair the shoes with different outfits. The inside of the shoes are lined with leather, making them soft to the touch.
It feels as though I'm walking in flats instead of heels because of the extra padding in the soles.
And, with the breathable lining, the shoes don't collect perspiration and stay odourless.

FOR THE BOLD AND DARING
Naturalizer Naya Cerena (bottom right)
What: This line is known for its blend of comfort, quality and sophistication, making it a good choice for corporates.
This pair is striking and pushes fashion boundaries. They also feature vegetable- tanned leather and lining for extra durability.
Verena's verdict: Made from all-natural materials, these shoes have a hardy, rugged look and feel, while maintaining a distinctly "city" vibe.
The heels may be chunky, but comfort - as with all Naturalizer shoes - is still optimal. This is one of my favourite pairs, thanks to the style.

FOR THE BOHO VIBE
Born Crown Myndy (bottom right)
What: These strappy wedges have a classic boho vibe, and are just right if you're going from the office to a casual lunch date.
The soft soles help alleviate stress and strain on pressure points of the foot.
Verena's verdict: The shoes epitomise one thing - simplicity. Still, the design can jazz up a plain outfit instantly.
The cork wood used for the wedges are lightweight and soft, making it a breeze to walk - and even run - in them.
