Reality TV star Kim Kardashian has gone through a makeover just a couple of months after she gave birth to North West, her daughter with rapper Kanye West. According to Huffington Post, Kardashian's new hair style had its debut at a barbecue in Beverly Hills last weekend.

The colouring was done by George Papanikolas, EOnline reports, who said Kardashian has wanted to have a lighter-coloured hair since they met last year.

Papanikolas also said West likes his wife's new look.

"He loves it. He was a big cheerleader for her to go blonde," the colourist said.

As for the cut, hair guru Chris McMillan said he just gave Kardashian more layers.

"I brought up her length and layered it around her face to grow her bangs out," said McMillan, who also described Kardashian's look to be "very '80-ishh".
