Part 2: Moss for Topshop
by Stacey Chia

British supermodel Kate Moss has reunited with Topshop for her most sophisticated collection yet.

Her latest collaboration with the British high-street giant, out on April 30, will still be quintessentially Moss, with its vintage-inspired styles, but the pieces will be made out of more luxurious fabrics, including silk chiffon sourced from London's Soho district, gold lame from Italy and intricate lace from India.

In a press release, the 40-year-old style icon says the collection reflects her growth as a designer.

"My first collection was seven years ago and I have grown up since then and things that I want to wear are different. It is a natural evolvement. I learnt a lot from my experience the first time around, so I didn't come in blind this time - I knew the process," says Moss, who started collaborating with Topshop in 2007. Her last collection for them was in 2010.

Styles include crocheted lace dresses, embroidered smock-tops and silk blouses inspired by the Balearic Islands in Spain; cocktail dresses embellished with cobweb beadwork and sequinned bead fringe, as well as a selection of tuxedos and trouser suits.

The pieces will be available at Topshop stores here. Should pieces run out, you can also try and multi-label online retailer Net-A-Porter (

Prices range from $79 for a vest to $576 for a fringe dress.
