Jennifer’s Body?
It’s more like Megan Fox’s body that everyone’s been talking about.
Especially after the sultry 23-year-old actress stunned the world back in June while taking Transformer: Revenge Of The Fallen overseas in jaw-dropping, slit-up-to-there gowns of every hue from Donna Karan, Roberto Cavalli and Kaufman Franco.
It was an impressive start for a red carpet novice.
So I was expecting much more from her promotional tour of horror flick Jennifer’s Body, since she’s moved on from supporting starlet to lead actress.
In it, she plays a demon-possessed, flesh-eating cheerleader intent on seducing and killing all the teenage boys in her high school – sometimes while in a state of undress.
Unfortunately, Fox’s red carpet reign has come to a screeching halt.
She’s still beautiful, leggy and oozing sex appeal from every pore, but there’s something disturbingly trampy about every look.
Talk about a transformation – for the worse.

1 Yes, it’s a Valentino cocktail dress and Christian Louboutin ankle-strap heels. But how on earth does Fox manage to cheapen such high-end labels? At the Toronto International Film Festival premiere of Jennifer’s Body, she appropriately flashed a lot of skin. But nothing ruins a fabulous black | 2 A day later at the movie’s press conference, an unnaturally pale Fox trotted out her worst look ever. The frightful Morticia Addams-esque gothic styling just doesn’t go with the surprisingly modest origami-cut Zac Posen black plaid dress with puff sleeves, cowl neck and ruffled asymmetrical hem – or the tan Brian Atwood pumps. But those unnecessary nude mesh stockings really take the cake. |

3 This woman has never worn anything that leaves people feeling merely lukewarm – but there’s a first for everything. At the Comic-Con party for the movie in San Diego, Fox tries to vamp it up in a ho-hum black cutout Emporio Armani sheath dress and overly harsh dark plum lips. I’m sure she’ll set more pulses racing as the new face and body of Emporio Armani Underwear. | 4 Just because you’re starring in a horror movie doesn’t mean you have to wear black all the time. Fox finally breaks out of her emo monochrome palette at a Hot Topic fan event in Hollywood, donning a flirty dusty rose Antonio Berardi Fall 2009 strapless mini-dress with a ruffle cascading down the hip with her hair girlishly tousled to one side. I just don’t get why she would match it with clashing gold animal-print Brian Atwood peep-toe pumps. |
