CENTENNIAL BASH British sportswear label Fred Perry will celebrate its 100th anniversary with a big bash on Nov 5 at Red Dot Design Museum in Maxwell Road, where its Limited Edition 100 Year collection and an outfit specially designed by Belgian designer Raf Simons will be unveiled.

British electronic alternative rock band Kyte will make their South-east Asian debut at the bash.

HIGH KICKS Hong Kong’s multi-label accessories store Pedder Red has teamed up with acclaimed Hong Kong songwriter, radio host, fashion columnist and trendsetter Wyman Wong for a special collection of heels that pays tribute to four influential designers – Martin Margiela, Christophe Decarnin (of Balmain), Oscar de la Renta and Yves Saint Laurent.

His shoe designs include miniature dresses and mannequins presented in styles that have become synonymous with these designers.

All four designs are priced at $359.

BLING BLISS Soo Kee Jewellery presents home-grown designer Wykidd Song’s long awaited third collection for the brand entitled We.

The six wedding bands and eight other jewellery pieces in the collection feature intertwining gold and diamond bands inspired by intermingling layers of silk chiffon and satin. Prices start from $499.

Song also designed four wedding gowns to complement the jewellery collection. Prices for the gowns range from $4,000 to $10,000.

FOR BOXING FANS American sportswear brand Everlast’s latest Muhammad Ali range marks a double celebration: The brand’s 100th anniversary (which takes place next year) and the 50th anniversary of boxing legend Muhammad Ali’s first and only Olympic gold medal win in 1960.

Boxing enthusiasts and Ali fans can now own reproductions of vintage T-shirts, shorts and boxing gloves that were donned by him.

The collection is available at Everlast boutiques at Ion Orchard, Bugis Junction, VivoCity and Jurong Point and prices range from $39.90 to $149.90.
