A public donation drive was held last month to collect branded clothing and accessories for the event, which is being held for the third time since 2005.

More than 4,000 pieces for both men and women from luxe labels such as Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, Donna Karan, Giorgio Armani and Jimmy Choo will be on sale.

Prices range from $10 to $450.

MasterCard will donate $2 to Unifem for every purchase made with its cards.

All proceeds will go to Unifem scholarships and skill-based training programmes for women who are victims of violence.
