SOME argue that the parenting style of the new generation of parents have had an indirect impact on teachers with regard to school discipline.
Such parents are not advocating radical, impractical individualism, or encourage their children to challenge their teachers’ authority.
Instead, these parents have more room to explore creative ways of parenting – in terms of coaching their children to have the right mindset, or to deal with difficult situations, for example.
Modern parenting does not necessarily go against the direction of educational policies;. Rather it can help these policies achieve their objectives.
