There are more fashion gems to be unveiled from Parco next NEXT, the Japanese's department store's fashion incubator project.

Parco next NEXT, which helps local budding designers test their mettle as fashion retailers, has now brought on board 12 new designers for the next leg of this collaboration between Parco and Textile & Fashion Federation (TaFf).

Together with the current batch of 12 designers who also presented their Christmas collections at a recently concluded fashion extravaganza, the 12 new fashion designers who will be getting an opportunity to showcase and sell their creations in a real retail environment.

We like that local fashion is getting more adventurous and is unafraid of making a statement.

More importantly though, most of the pieces are utterly wearable.

The variety that was shown was staggering, so we picked out those that we think will find appeal with the fashionista who is looking for something to stand out in.
