PHOTOS of Ella Chen's bridal shoot have surfaced on the Internet, to the delight of fans of the Taiwanese singer-actress who are eagerly anticipating her big day in May.

Chen, 30, who is a member of popular girl group S.H.E., recently made an unannounced five-day trip to Guam with fiancé Alvin Lai, 36, and a small entourage to take their pre-wedding photographs.

The couple used various picturesque locations on the Pacific island for their shoot, like San Vitores Bayside Chapel and the Lina’La’ cultural park, a posting on Chen’s Facebook fan page said.

Chen's wardrobe consisted of a NT$450,000 (S$19,200) wedding gown and a NT$180,000 (S$7,700) multi-layered chiffon dress.

A local priest was invited to bless the couple during the chapel photo shoot, and it was then when Chen broke down with tears of joy after saying the words "I do".

In that moment, she said she felt aware that everything was real and like a dream come true.

"It's how I imagined it, like in romantic movies I watched when I was younger," Chen said in Mandarin.

"I am blessed to have all this and it's because of a husband who loves me and wants to marry me."

Chen will wed Mr Lai, an executive with L'Oreal Group Taiwan, on May 5, in his hometown of Malacca.
