Sharing a romantic walk under an umbrella on a beautiful rainy night sealed the deal for Paul Foster when he picked Germaine Ang to be his final date.
In our date-a-celeb series that ran last month, we asked women to write in to win a Valentine's Day date with the British-Chinese TV host and a fellow bachelor, Irish-Lebanese DJ Mike Kasem.
The guys picked seven women each from the pool of 50 entries and went on separate group dates on Valentine's Day to find TheOne. Both men had to choose their favourite out of the seven to spend the rest of the evening with.
But Foster put himself in a difficult position when he realised some time during the group dinner that he was equally attracted to two women - nurse Germaine Ang and model Geraldine Loo, both 27.
So Foster bought himself some time by choosing both of them - after seeking their approval, of course - to take out on one-on-one dates.
Foster, 32, had told The New Paper during the Valentine's Day outing: "I must admit that I was sceptical going into this. "I haven't met anyone that I was interested in dating for so long. My last relationship was two years ago.
"Tonight has been incredibly difficult because I have met a few women who I can see being my girlfriend.
"Geraldine and Germaine are so close in terms of being very attractive and having things that we can connect with, that it's hard to pick either one.
"I don't know what to do, it's so difficult having to pick one!"
He joked that as Miss Loo lived in Jurong and Miss Ang in Pasir Ris, he was literally "caught in the middle" as he lives in Serangoon.
After Valentine's Day, he kept in touch with both women via phone messaging. He had hoped that their conversations would lead him to make his final decision.
Still, his final choice eluded him.
He said he enjoyed talking to the two women very much as they both had a good sense of humour.
So the next step was to go on their individual one-on-one dates.
