Haute Couture shows in Paris end with Chanel's big bang
by Paris Modes

The second and penultimate day of the Haute Couture shows ended with the Chanel show in the Grand Palais, decorated by the legendary bottles of Chanel n°5 perfume.

A graphic and pure line based around suits - which were first onto the catwalk - with panels on the back in the style of a frock coat.

There was a glow to the collection with embroidered flowers, pearls, studs and gems, even incorporated into a cloche hat with a veil draped down over the face.

All of dresses followed on from each other, all different, some in colour, some in black or white, experimenting with a nude or asymmetric effect.

Karl Lagerfeld has created a new luxurious ‘extreme refinement’ collection, which is the image of Chanel.
