Hong Kong crowned its latest queen during the Miss Hong Kong 2010 pageant on August 1.

According to the People's Daily Online, Miss Toby Chan became Miss Hong Kong in a glittery pageant finale. She was also named Miss International Goodwill.

But her wins were surrounded by some controversy, as her boyfriend is a sponsor of the pageant. She also did not win much support from the public.  But Toby was visibly excited by her win and said that she was not worried by the accusations of cheating, as there were other judges on the panel.

1st runner-up was Miss Sammi Cheung, who expressed surprised that she had come so far in the pageant, while 2nd runner-up is Miss Lisa Chong, whose older sister is a model. When she was asked if she thought her success was because of her family's background, she replied that she did not think that had anything to do with it.
