Take a shine to Chanel's new polishes
by Jill Alphonso

AFTER the wild success of its nail-polish colours like Jade (released earlier this year), French fashion brand Chanel is launching a new trio of polishes that is sure to excite fashionistas.

The Les Khakis de Chanel, to be released on Sunday, will appear in Singapore ahead of any other country in the world.

Priced at $35 per bottle, the collection - Khaki Vert, Khaki Brun and Khaki Rose - plays on the ultra-chic trend of the moment: muted colours for nails.

Magazines around the world have been salivating about this trio of colours for months.

And no wonder. Vert, in particular, is a stand-out - its hues make one think of lush Spanish moss dripping from tree trunks.

The collection will be launched at the new Chanel Fragrance and Beauty Boutique at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, set to open on Sunday.

Visitors can also expect limited- edition exclusives for Singapore, such as alligator bags and charm bags in the cutest colours.
