Local singer Stefanie Sun is due to deliver her first child, believed to be a girl, next month.
Her manager recently told Taiwanese media that Sun has been approached by several companies to endorse a variety of baby products except for cord blood, that is.
This could be a chance for Sun - who has been resting at home for the past six months, intending to return to work six months after her delivery - to recoup financial losses for her time out.
Taiwanese media estimated Sun would have turned down at least 20 performances in the one year, losing out on an estimated NT$60million ($2.5million).
The 34-year-old is married to Dutchman Nadim van der Ros, a consultant in the company Good Bean Consultancy, which provides corporate social responsibility advice.
