Save on spring colours!

There's good news on the fashion front.

Though the latest in denim trends - think floral prints for spring (we love 7 For All Mankind's Midnight Floral pattern) - have yet to arrive in full swing here, clothing companies are giving shoppers the chance to save on their candy-coloured bottoms.

Yes, bright tones are still the in thing, and everything from soft oranges to poppy pinks and neon hues are in shops.

Best yet, stores are offering savings on bottoms in hot colours. Check out our hit list.

Gap's fun, fresh colours have flown off the shelves each season since their debut in 2010. Last year, a spokesman for Gap said that colours like "lemon drop" and "surf pipe blue" helped propel a sales jump for the American company.

Tomorrow, the first 50 customers at each Gap store are entitled to a pair of 1969 denim jeans for just $19.69. The next 100 customers at each store will get a pair of 1969 jeans at $69. The usual price for a pair of 1969 jeans is $100 and up.

From Sunday until March 20, all shoppers who buy a pair of 1969 denim jeans will get their second pair at 50 per cent off.

Gap stores are located at Wisma Atria, VivoCity, Plaza Singapura and The Centrepoint.

Happy pants are in, and none are happier than Bossini's. Available in a variety of candy colours, such as pink, yellow and a jade-like turquoise, the colourful shades were conceived specifically to complement Asian skin tones.

Find the happy colours in shorts, bermudas, capri pants and ankle-length chino pants for women, and in straight-cut chino pants for men. Made of high-quality stretch fabric with a mix of cotton and spandex, the Colour Bottoms are comfy to the max.

Colour Bottoms are currently priced at $29 a pair, with a minimum of two pieces bought (while stocks last). The usual price is $33 a pair.

Bossini stores can be found at malls like Bugis Junction, Parkway Parade and The Centrepoint. Visit www. for a full list of shops.

Uniqlo is always affordable, and its range of colours has endured a meticulous testing process to ensure they complement a wide range of hair and skin tones.

From playful pastels to vibrant hues, there are options for both men and women. A pair of women's cropped legging pants starts at $34.90, while a pair of skinny- fit tapered jeans is at $49.90. The men's range features chino shorts for $34.90, and chino pants at $49.90.

Uniqlo stores can be found at Bugis+, Plaza Singapura, 313@Somserset, Tampines 1 and other malls. Visit www.uniqlo. com/sg for a full list.
