If you've an inexhaustible passion for fashion, or always wanted to hear fashion designers share about their creative visions and their inspirations, getting a hold of tickets to the very first Fashion Talks Singapore is a must.
Fashion Talks New York first began in 2007 as a way for people interested in fashion to meet and listen to famous fashion designers discuss about fashion the topic and their illustrious careers. Past designers that have been on Fashion Talks include Marc Jacobs, Oscar de la Renta, Dries van Noten, Stefano Pilati and Diane von Furstenburg. This year's guests for the New York session include Humberto Leon and Carol Lim of Kenzo and Naeem Khan.
Organised by the French Institute Alliance Française in New York, the event is helmed by renowned fashion and art curator of the Musee des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, Pamela Golbin, and the annual event never fails to draw a full house.
For the first time in Singapore, Fashion Talks will be brought here for one night only on April 5, thanks to esteemed fashion persona, Olga Iserlis, the founder of fashion events company TWISE. The designer that will be sharing his views on Fashion Talks Singapore will be Peter Copping, creative director of Nina Ricci.
Copping, who worked at Louis Vuitton before heading Nina Ricci four years ago, has managed to accurately capture the Nina Ricci spirit and will be sharing his experiences and thoughts on fashion. Guests can engage Copping in a Q&A segment during the 45-minute session as well.
LaSalle fashion students get in free but limited tickets are available to the public for the total collected amount will be donated to the Food From The Heart charity.

Fashion Talks Singapore 2013 will be held on Friday, April 5 at 7pm at The Singapore Airlines Theatre, LaSalle College of the Arts.
