It will be his first visit to Singapore as creative director of the French luxury house. The veteran German couturier will be accompanied by an entourage that includes his long-time muse Lady Amanda Harlech and 40 international models who will walk the runway at the as yet undisclosed show venue.
Over the years, Lagerfeld, 79, has presented his cruise collection in different cities, such as New York, St Tropez and Venice.
Singapore is the first Asian city picked for the show, said a spokesman for Chanel.
Two hundred international press are expected to attend the invite-only event, along with celebrities from Europe, China and South Korea.
