The blemish balm - better known as BB cream - originally hailing from South Korea has been all the rage in recent years.
Now, it seems beauty companies are moving down a letter in the alphabet, concocting a line of CC creams.
The "CC" stands for everything from "colour control" to "complete correction", and differs for each brand.
What makes the CC cream similar to the BB cream is that it's formulated to serve a dual purpose: For make-up and skincare.
Cosmetic companies, Asian and Western alike, are now jumping on the bandwagon to produce a tinted CC cream that boasts beneficial properties such as whitening and moisturising.
