Taiwanese singer Van Ness Wu has applied to marry Singaporean girlfriend Arissa Cheo on Aug 9.

Lianhe Wanbao reporters tracked down a marriage application in his name, filed on National Day (Aug 9) to marry his longtime girlfriend Miss Arissa Cheo.

The report said that the standard procedure is that solemnization will take place between 21 days and 3 months after the notice of marriage is filed.

In his latest album A Different Man, the American-born Taiwanese singer-actor and member of mega-popular Taiwanese boy band F4 had released a song entitled Marry Me for the love of his life whom he has been dating on and off for the past seven years.

Miss Cheo, 29, is a graduate of the University of Southern California who majored in communication (film and television).

She is currently an entrepreneur who models her own fashion, and is the co-founder and director of jewellery brand Sacred Hearts X and fashion brand Carte Blanche X.

In particular, she is popular icon with young women known for her sexy style.
