Chanel has long been known for creating fabulous, "die die must buy" makeup colours in its eyeshadow palettes and nail lacquers; now the luxury French beauty brand has created the same sort of intensity with its new coloured mascaras.

To launch these new shades, Chanel Beauty has released its Jeux De Regards collection of eyeshadow palettes and mascaras; the concept apparently "invites women to express openly their femininity with a personal touch".

The brand's new Le Volume De Chanel mascara formula was created to, obviously, add volume to your lashes via a new brush shape that reportedly coats the lashes from "root to tip" with natural waxes and a quick-drying acacia gum ensuring "immediate volume". Adding strong colour to the new product ‒ Bleu is an intense denim blue; Noir, a deep black; Prune, an interesting plum brown shade ‒ increases the vibrancy of the accompanying eyeshadows.

There are two groups of colours; blues and browns. The indigo shades in the Les 4 Ombres eyeshadow Fascination palette include a matte green indigo, warmed with purple, and a sparkling satiny blue plus two greys of different intensity. To add depth, there's the Stylo Yeux Waterproof eyeliner pencils in four shades: Noir Intense, Gris Raffiné, Black Shimmer or metallic navy Bleu Exquis.

In the brown colour range, Chanel Beauty offers a tone-on-tone option from Les 4 Ombres eyeshadow Séduction palette with natural shades likes peach satin, beige, deep aubergine or intense brown. You can combine these with Convoitise ‒ a light golden beige ‒ in the Illusion D'Ombre eyeshadow formula that goes from a mouse to a powder on the skin. For your eyeliner there are Stylo Yeux Waterproof pencils in frosted chestnut Taupe, mid-brown Santal and darker Espresso; or use the iconic Grenat shade, a purple brown that goes with everything.

Whether you choose the cool blue shades or the warmer tones of brown, the new Chanel Jeux De Regards collection of makeup has definitely got something to suit your preferences, as well as innovative colours to add new life to your look.
