In town last month to provide make-up demonstrations with popular Korean make-up brand L'egere, Taiwan's make-up maestro, Kevin Zhou, was very forthcoming with useful tips on make-up and skin care.
In addition to sharing the benefits of the L'egere whitening skincare range, he had a female audience captivated as he shared simple yet useful advice on looking beautiful with minimum hassle.
He also made the Korean range relevant to Singapore women by teaching the audience at Marina Square, where his make-up demonstration was held, some clever techniques to applying products from its whitening range.
We reproduce some of Kevin's make-up tips on Diva:
Keeping your face clean
- Dirty skin makes uneven skin tone and pigmentation even more visible. So, always remove make-up thoroughly before cleansing face at the end of the day, to avoid causing clogging of skin pores. After all, skin becomes clogged with sebum and dirt from environmental pollution which quickly become acne and sebum if dirt and make-up is not removed.
Here is something else to think about too - you should spend the same amount of time in removing your make-up and cleaning your face at the end of the day as the length of time spent to put on your make up in the morning. This will ensure that you have cleaned your face entirely of dirt and sebum.
