After the wrong name was announced as winner for Australia's Next Top Model, Foxtel - the pay TV provider that produced the TV series - has been severely criticised.
Host of the show, Sarah Murdoch, had mistakenly announced the winner as Kelsey Martinovich, but had to correct herself and award it to Amanda Ware during a live telecast of the finals.
Australia's edition of Harper's Bazaar has accused Foxtel of manipulating the results as the TV network wanted Amanda to win, while other viewers claimed that the mistake was a publicity stunt.
However, a judge on the show, Alex Perry, told Sydney radio that the mistake was "human error" and not due to planning.
