Hong Kong celebrity Kelly Chen is looking forward to motherhood a second time round with businessman husband Alex Lau.

The actress confirmed the news, which was then reported by TVB news. But this time, she will be expecting twins.

She said: "I am pregnant, and it's over two months. It is time to announce the news, but I'm not sure if the twins are boys or girls yet."

Chen, who has a two-year-old son, Chace Lau Sing, admitted that she received help with her pregnancy, undergoing in-vitro fertilisation (IVF), as she was in a hurry to conceive.

She reportedly said that she wanted to have another child again before she turned 40. She is now 38 years old.

She continued: "Seeing that I wasn't really able to (conceive), the doctor suggested that I use this method.

While Chen said that she hoped to have a baby girl, she said that hubby Alex Lau's reaction to the second-time around pregnancy was "okay too".
