China Press reported that Malaysian actress Yeo Yann Yann, 35, gave birth to her first child via Caesarean section on Friday.

Her Hong Kong husband Mah Yuk Sing, an action choreographer, was present during the birth.

"It felt so amazing to hold my baby girl for the first time," said Yeo, adding that the newborn weighed 3.5kg.

Yeo, who got hitched at her hometown in Johor Baru on March 4, had caught fans by surprise with the announcement of her wedding as they were not aware that she was dating Mah.
