Australian supermodel Elle Macpherson has accepted billionaire Jeffrey Soffer's marriage proposal after surviving a bumpy romantic journey. The couple dated for two years before breaking up in March last year.

They reunited in November after Soffer, 43, narrowly escaped death in a helicopter horror crash that killed his friend Lance Valdez.

The 49-year-old blonde beauty reportedly has plans to move from London to Florida with the hotel heir.

This will be the second marriage for the pair.

Macpherson was previously married to fashion photographer Gilles Bensimon for three years, and has two sons with ex-boyfriend Arpad Busson.
