You’re on call 24/7, with phones and machines beeping constantly. Home is where the heart is, so you know something is awry when you’re using your home for everything except matters of the heart.
“Working on the bed blurs the boundaries between work and home, which makes it harder for you to relax. It also indicates to your partner that you don’t wish to be disturbed or are uninterested in anything that’s not related to work.
“If possible, try not to bring work home. If you really have to, create a no-work zone in your bedroom and restrict anything work-related to the living room or study room,” says Daniel.
