"I told her no boyfriends till 21-years-old, but I don't think she will do that," said Mr Keith Leong when asked if he will control who his daughter dates.
He and 12-year-old daughter Crystal were among the 48 father-and-daughter pairs at "Date with Dad", an event organised by local charity Focus on the Family.
This is the second year it is running.
So why fathers and daughters?
"We really want to tell the youth that they are worth the wait and we want to be focused in what we're doing so we selected girls" said Ms Ruth Kan, the Youth Ambassador for Focus on the Family.
