Anne hath a way with TOGS
by Jeanmarie Tan

But Anne Hathaway looks just as good with clothes, especially designer duds, on.

The luminous 28-year-old US actress turned up the glam factor in impeccable cocktail dresses while walking the red carpets to promote Love And Other Drugs.

In the romantic flick, she plays a free-spirited woman suffering from early onset Parkinson's disease who falls for a charming pharmaceutical sales rep (Jake Gyllenhaal).

Like her girl-next-door character in The Devil Wears Prada, Hathaway has blossomed into one of Hollywood's style princesses (under the guidance of celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe).

Consistently sophisticated, polished and elegant, the sartorially savvy beauty will surely dazzle us when she hosts this year's Oscars ceremony.

1) When you look this flawless, you wouldn't be surprised to top best-dressed lists the world over.

Hathaway was at her most alluring in this demure yet sexy, white short-sleeved sheath with cream lace front panels and hip ruffles by Antonio Berardi at Love And Other Drugs' AFI Film Festival screening in Los Angeles.

Everything's perfect, from the snug fit to the Dolce Vita-inspired hairstyle to the nude Sergio Rossi slingback peeptoes.

2) Nobody does sweet and charming quite like Hathaway.

She continued her radiant run at the New York premiere in this delicate but hard-to-pull-off retro ivory floral applique-and-fringe trapeze frock from Valentino.

She accessorised it with a tan Jimmy Choo clutch and matching Valentino bow-adorned strappy sandals.

The long, sheer oversized chiffon bow at the neckline could've been overkill, but Hathaway killed it.

3) She finally crossed over to the dark side with this navy galaxy print Christopher Kane silk dress with flutter sleeves and sheer collared overlay at the Sydney photo call.

She looked so cute I didn't even mind the boring black Brian Atwood pumps.

4) At the Sydney premiere, Hathaway dazzled again in her second sparkly mini.

The gorgeous gold sequined long-sleeved tunic from Oscar de la Renta and silver Jimmy Choo heels just scream movie star.
