Ella Chen of Taiwan girl group S.H.E and her Malaysian husband Alvin Lai arrived early at Kuala Lumpur International Airport on Wednesday for their wedding banquet in Malacca tomorrow.

Guang Ming Daily and Sin Chew Daily reported that the couple had arrived separately Ella from Taiwan and Lai from Singapore.

The couple, who got married in Taiwan earlier this month, were spotted at the airport's arrival hall.

They were in a jovial mood.

Guang Ming Daily also reported that Lai's father said that he was not aware that the couple were already in Malaysia.

He said they were scheduled to arrive at the family home in Ujong Pasir today.
