S'pore first to debut Crocs eyewear collection

Embrace the sun with both style and sense. Singapore will be the first country in the world to retail Crocs' first-ever sunglasses collection.

The debut collection has 50 lightweight pairs, engineered for Asian face shapes, in a range of colours and styles. For men, there are aviator-style stainless steel frames coloured with a cool palette. For women, there are oversized acetate frames in warmer and earthy tones. Most styles are gender neutral.

Lightweight, comfort and toughness - qualities of the label's footwear - are also incorporated into the eyewear's design. Each pair of sunglasses is built with a bridge to sit comfortably on the nose, and some models have a spring hinge fixed to enhance this purpose. Sports enthusiasts need not worry about their glasses slipping off as the anti-slip silicon rubber temples can be adjusted for fit.

The glasses have 100 per cent UV 400 protection lenses and are highly resistant to environmental stress such as humidity, damaging ultraviolet rays and oil. Crocs guarantees that wearers will not find a build-up of mould or bacteria after prolonged use of their sunglasses.

The glasses cost from $115 to $125, and are available from both Crocs stores and leading optical stores.
