Gillian Chung to talk about Edison

Hong Kong - Actress-singer Gillian Chung will have her say about actor Edison Chen on Saturday when an interview is aired, marking her comeback a year after the sex photo scandal which enveloped them broke.

TVB general manager Stephen Chan is interviewing her this week for his show Be My Guest and she is expected, like actress Cecilia Cheung, to talk about the scandal, Apple Daily said yesterday.

Last week, Cheung gave a juicy interview on cable TV in which she railed against Chen, whose stolen photos of sex acts with the two actresses flooded the Internet a year ago.

Chung's interview was pushed up from next week as TVB might be trying to capitalise on the renewed media interest in the scandal following Cheung's interview, said Apple.

The interview is important for Chung to salvage her image as she has been criticised for smiling and saying 'I was naive and silly' at a press conference shortly after the photos came out.

Out of work for the whole of last year, she officially staged her comeback on Monday by releasing photos of her new print ad - her first ad deal since the photo scandal.

She is pocketing a seven-figure sum as the Asia-Pacific face for a jeans label. The ad shows her facing up to male models wearing demon masks.
