Singer Jolin Tsai has blown any hopes fans may have of her reuniting with old flame, singer-songwriter Jay Chou.

A reunion has been in the air since she was spotted on a supposed date in a bowling alley earlier this month with Chou.

But on Sunday, she told reporters: 'We're friends... Don't believe it. (A reunion) is not possible.' She claimed that their 'date' was a coincidence, saying: 'Jay is welcome to join us.' She added: 'I hope he will find someone he likes soon.'
