Tired of losing out in relationships

I AM 27 and I can't remember the last time I was in a serious and stable relationship.

To rub salt in a wound, my ex-lovers always go on to find their true love.

I feel cursed because this has happened five times.

Just when I had given up hope, I met this girl on Facebook.

At first, we just chatted because she lives in Kuala Lumpur and I'm in Ipoh.

She asked me many times to meet her, so I made the trip to see her.

We dated a few times and I fell for her without even knowing it.

I noticed that she gave me signs that she was interested, but because of my bad experiences, I did nothing about it.

One day, she told me about another guy who wanted to be with her and that she was considering it.

Is this because I didn't respond to her? I decided to tell her my feelings but she said she treated me just like a brother.

We have maintained our friendship but I don't message her as often as before because I don't want to cause any arguments with her new man.

I still miss her and love her.

I have tried to meet new girls but I am so tired of always losing.

Tired

PERHAPS you have been playing friend and big brother much too often.

Look back at the failed romances and search yourself for the reasons.

Were you always too careful about getting hurt? You give up too easily because you are afraid of failure but you will still be single and alone if you continue to allow yourself to be sidelined.

A man who is strongly attracted to a gal would be persistent, ardent and completely besotted, at least during the early stages of romance.

If you play hot and cold, how is a girl to know if you are interested?

Stop feeling sorry for yourself. Nobody will hear you if you keep silent about your feelings.

If you like a girl, what have you got to lose if she is single and available?
