Are nosy in-laws killing your sex life?
by Justina Tan

Sex Saboteur #1: Meet the folks
While having your parents or in-laws under the same roof helps maintain family ties, it can really put a damper on your sex life.

Solution: To maintain personal space without offending the folks, Dr Martha Lee, founder and clinical sexologist of Eros Coaching, suggests allocating specific days of the week for them and specific days for just you and your partner.

Alternatively, suggests Dr Lee, set some boundaries, like having your in-laws knock and wait for your response if the bedroom door is closed instead of just barging in.

If you are concerned that your “housemates” can hear your lovemaking, Lorilee Craker, author of We Should Do This More Often, suggests putting white noise to work for you. Playing some Muzak or having a fan in the bedroom can help block out sounds.
