She's a dream come true for men who want to date the quintessential SIA girl.

Miss Mindy Chia, 32, is a flight attendant with Singapore Airlines. The slim babe had no idea who Mike Kasem was when she read The New Paper earlier this week.

She decided to send in her application because she liked what he said about his love for travel.

Miss Chia works the US route on direct business-class flights and often flies to New York and Los Angeles.

She said: "I love travelling and that's why I made sure I did it for a living. I've been a flight attendant for 10 years and I love my job.

"That's why I rarely listen to the radio here and didn't know of Mike."

She added: "We (flight attendants) aren't just trolley-dollies. Often, we play nanny and counsellor to mums and passengers who are emotionally down.

"The latter are those who are flying for a funeral or who have had to leave their loved ones."

Miss Chia broke up with her businessman boyfriend of seven years last year because he did not want to settle down just yet.

"We had different goals in life so we parted ways.

"When I read that Mike was looking to settle down, that caught my attention.

"He seems like a family man and that is what I'm looking for," she said.
