Side shows at Haute Couture week
by Paris Modes

Only a few privileged fashion houses can boast belonging to the official Haute Couture calendar.

For other designers, they remain OFF, at the side of the shows - an opportunity to make the most an effervescent fashion week to present their work and embark on a new adventure.

This is exactly what has happened to Julien Fournié, former Artistic Director for Torrente and Ramosport, which unveiled his first collection surrounded by only sponsors and loyal friends.

With a sense of lightness and delicacy, his "Premier Modèles", the name of his collection, demonstrated great expertise with meticulously crafted dresses, such as a bustier resembling a sheet of paper, chiffon dresses in nude shades, evoking flowers swaying in the wind, or his final two dresses, where lace, Solstiss edition from the 1930s, was combined with organza and chiffon silk.
